Brooks Climmons, and Dallas Brown.

You may not have ever noticed, but I almost never refer to a wrestler by name in my Blogs. It is not so much a legal thing as it is common courtesy . Well, I was on the mat about to start a match when Dallas, and Brooks told me to write about them in my Blog. There you go guys.
With the Chatanooga tournament drawing the normal Tn. crew, this weekend's tournament at ALX was much more of a local tournament. That sounds as if it is a bad thing, but it is actualy a great show. Most of the guys planning on going with our National teams were there. We had some of our best Greco/FS guys going head to head. It was quite an air show.
I officiated about 6 matches with 5 point throws, and had tons of threes.
As always, the tournament was both a learning, and teaching experience for me. I worked a mat directley in front of Mel Ashcraft, so I got his critiques all day long. I worked with new officials, and gave a clinic for the Freestyle tournament.
Next week i will be running practice at Lambert, running a clinic at Indian Creek Middle School, and having an end of the year Soccer banquet, but that is just in my spare time. For right now it is time to stop thinking about wrestling for a minute, and celebrate Mother's day with my Mom, and Mother in law.

Happy Mother's Day.
